Everco LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the Postie service and the postie.ink website. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

What We Collect

Account Information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers.

Child Information: We collect your child's first name and age to personalize the Postie experience. We do not collect your child's last name, photo, school, or any other identifying information beyond what is needed to address their mail and render age-appropriate content.

Usage Data: When your child uses the Commander Portal app, we collect interaction data (choices made, transmissions sent) to personalize future story content. This data is stored securely and associated with your account, not your child's identity.

How We Use It

• To track story choices that affect future chapters
• To communicate with you about your subscription
• To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not serve advertising
• We do not share your child's information with anyone outside Everco LLC
• We do not use your child's data for marketing purposes
• We do not retain data after account deletion beyond what is legally required

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Postie is designed for children ages 4–10, used under parental supervision. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). All accounts are created by parents. We collect minimal child information (first name and age only). Parents can review, update, or delete their child's data at any time. The app does not collect photos, voice recordings, or location data from children.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized Everco LLC personnel only.

Your Rights

You may at any time request a copy of your data, request correction, request deletion, or cancel your subscription. Contact us at privacy@postie.ink.
